Complete Question Explanation

The correct answer choice is (B).

There are two ways to consider this question: which representatives could visit a site three times, or which sites could be visited three times. From a site standpoint, India already has exactly two Vs, so it's out of contention. Ghana already has V, W, and Y in some configuration, so it too is out of consideration. Thus, only France is open to having this occur.

From the standpoint of which variables could meet the requirement of having all three of their visits in France, we have the following:

  • V: This cannot occur since V's visits are already assigned to two different sites.
W: W is already assigned once to Ghana, and thus W could not visit France three times.
Y: Y is already assigned once to Ghana, and thus Y could not visit France three times.
Z: This is possible; for example Z could visit France in the second, third, and fourth months.

Answer choice (B): This is the correct answer choice. Z is the only representative that can meet the requirement in this question.

As an aside, this question becomes solvable faster if you refer back to Question 20...(assuming you're able to get Question 20 correct, which I definitely did not, and therefore benefitted 0 on the actual test), but just something to keep in mind for the future.
