Hi,

I am planing on retaking the LSAT for the second time in July. I did the On demand with online touring the first time (test was in February). I got some improvement in my original score (10 points from first practice test to the actual test), but its not where I would like to be (I need another 10-15 points). I was wondering if there are any study plans that combine the LSAT bibles and the online class together. I am willing to put in the time on doing the homework and doing extra reading if it means an improvement to my score. Or a better question, what is Powerscore recommendation? Should I redo the online course and redo all the homework and practice tests, or just study the bibles?

On a side note, I am sure you guys hear it all the time, but without your courses, forms and podcast, I most likely would have given up on trying this one more time. Your staff are amazing to work with and are very encouraging.

thank you,

Loay

Hi Loay,

Thank you for your post! First, congrats on the score increase! That's awesome to hear — keep up the great work! And thank you for your kind words. We very much appreciate them. :D

As for what to do next in your studying, since you've already worked through the course and private tutoring (and made some great progress!), it is likely that your next steps will be more personalized. So, I would encourage you to read this blog post: https://blog.powerscore.com/lsat/need-l ... -help-you/ and use it as a guideline to provide us with some more information. Specifically, a better sense of your strengths, weaknesses, and your test score breakdowns will help us point you in the right direction. :)

Generally speaking, though, if you’re looking to use the Bibles to do some self-study in addition to the course, you might find the below posts helpful:
• LSAT Prep before Full Length Class: https://forum.powerscore.com/lsat/viewt ... 81&p=23886
• Should I Study On My Own Before Starting an LSAT Course? http://blog.powerscore.com/lsat/bid/336 ... SAT-Course

While these posts reference studying before a class begins, they can also be applied to studying after class as well. Please note that those self-study plans can be customized — especially since you’ve already taken the course, you will want to amend the self-study plans as you feel fit!

Lastly, if you haven't already listened to this PowerScore LSAT Podcast episode, this may help as well: https://www.powerscore.com/lsat/podcast/3/

I hope this information helps! Please let us know if you have any follow-up questions, or if you would like to provide further information about your LSAT progress!
