Hi,

I was wondering if there was any way to remove the pausing feature on the digital interface while taking PTs?

Thank you!

Hi Sim,

We can't remove that feature locally due to how it works globally within the interface. However, as it currently works it's a passive safety net that can be ignored by test takers when they don't need it, and used by test takers when they do need it. When we didn't have it, everyone complained because occasionally life intrudes and you need to take a moment and pause the test. It was unfair when that happened and they didn't have the option, and thus they lost the testing experience entirely while time ticked away. With the Pause button there, you can simply ignore it as needed. Is it that the presence of the option is throwing you off?

Thanks!

Hi Dave and Stephanie,

Thank you for getting back to me. It's not a problem!

It doesn't throw me off. I simply wanted to make my last few PTs resemble the actual experience as closely as possible.
