Hi Everyone,

I know it has been a hectic several weeks for LSAC with the lost scores, make-up exam, and August FLEX in a few short weeks.

LSAC has had my accommodations request paperwork for over 3 weeks. On my LSAC account it says my file is under review and that a decision will be made within 14 days.

14 days have come and gone and I am wondering if this is par for the course for LSAC, or if everything they are currently experiencing has caused unusual delays. I tried getting them on the phone today but was unsuccessful due to long wait times.

Thank you very much and happy studying! I really appreciate PowerScore's thoughtful approach and commitment to student success!

Hi CL18,

Thanks for the message! There are a few factors in play here:

  • * The message about a 14 day turnaround is a standard notification from pre-covid19 times. I've asked them to update this to a more realistic number, but it hasn't happened yet :/ So, the pandemic element has to be allowed for here as having an effect (and it is, for sure).

    * All LSAC employees have been working from home during the pandemic, which has slowed processing. then, on top of that, the tropical storm that went up the East Coast last week knocked out power for a ton of LSAC employees, adding another wrench right at the peak of the process.
So, I've spoken to them about this, and they are working with extra hands on these applications. And, even better news: I haven't seen a valid application denied in years,s o if your paperwork is in order, you'll get what you asked for :-D

A big wave of results went out Friday, so hopefully yours will be here soon!

Hi Dave,

Thank you for your helpful response. Do they typically distribute responses on Friday, or as they are processed?

Thank you!
