Hi, I am wondering if someone can go through the thought process for approaching this question on this particular pattern game?

Hi gwlsathelp!

With a Global Must Be True question like this one, I would start by reading through the answer choices to see if anything jumps out at me. Usually on Global MBT questions, I'm looking for an answer choice that matches one of the upfront inferences that I made about the game. In this Pattern game, however, there weren't many upfront inferences to be made. So I just jump into the answer choices, hoping that one of them stands out as something that must be true. In this case, I luck out because answer choice (C) would pretty clearly always have to be true. Since "Each employee selects the office that he or she ranks highest among the unselected offices," then whoever selects first is going to select their first choice. Therefore, "At least one of the employees selects the office he or she ranks first."

Hope this helps!

Best,
Kelsey
