Hi all,

I was wondering whether you guys have any tips regarding rule substitution questions ("Which one of the following, if substituted for the rule that ___, would have the same effect", etc.). I can't seem to answer these with any speed--I can usually quickly narrow the options down to 2/3, but from there I feel like I have to meticulously go over each one/try out the potential substitute to determine the correct answer.

Is there a speedier way to identify when a rule substitute will have the same effect on the game?

Thank you!

Hi AC!

Thanks for the question! You can find a lot of helpful Rule Substitution information in your Online Student Center Lesson and Homework Supplements. Under Lesson 7, there's a section titled "LG: Rule Substitution Questions" will a full breakdown of how to tackle these questions. Let me know if you need assistance finding that section, and I would be happy to help! :)
