Hi Powerscore!

I was recently waitlisted at a few schools I would be interested in attending. However, I have also considered taking a year or two to work and retake the LSAT. Is it bad to reapply to these schools even though I was already waitlisted?

Thanks!

It depends on what happens next. If you get waitlisted and then ultimately denied, reapplying is not an issue at all. And the adcomms will remember your app from this year, and they love to see re-improved apps submitted! It shows growth as well as commitment to the school.

If the next step is that you are admitted, and then you decline, it's not a positive. Schools will often take a "once bitten, twice shy" approach to reapplicants who declined their prior acceptance, so be aware of that :)

Thanks!
