February Flex

I am wondering if LSAC pushes the harder versions of the test to later dates. For instance, if there are three testing dates available for February's FLEX, would the harder version be seen during one of the later testing dates?

I could be wrong but I'm fairly certain that they create a set number of versions of the test, each with its own scale. Then when you enter the system, you are randomly assigned one of those tests. Welcome to the LSAT casino.

Thanks for the post, and thanks for the assist menkenj! Yes, menkenj is correct! LSAC does not design one Flex session/date to be "harder" or "easier" than another — you will simply get a randomly assigned version of the Flex exam.

Also, all LSATs are designed to be roughly equal, so when a test is logically harder, you get a looser scale. If a test is logically easier, then you get a tighter scale. So, in the long run, it offsets and brings everything to the middle.
