I chose B for this question, but was stuck between answer choices A and B and just want to double check why A is wrong.

Lines 35-37 ("historically, the stories judged to be objectively true are those told by people who are trained in legal discourse, while the stories of those who are not fluent in the language of the law are rejected as false." and lines 39-54 "have sought empowerment for the latter group of people through the construction of alternative legal narratives...the tone of legal personal stories may convince legal insiders for the first time to listen to those not fluent in legal language....such alternative narratives can shatter the complacency of the legal establishment and disturb its tranquility." While these lines all support B, can't we also infer from them that those in the legal establishment are those who get trained in objectivist language, and those outside of it do not?

Hi Kathryn,

For answer choice (B), we can also point to right around line 50, where it explicitly says that people excluded from legal discourse were also excluded from power.

In regards to answer choice (A), the passage supports that most Western legal systems are supported by objectivist principles, but there's not a lot to show that the legal establishment controls all access to training. The passage just doesn't give us enough information to say how training is controlled.

Hope that helps!
