Complete Question Explanation
(The complete setup for this game can be found here: lsat/viewtopic.php?f=332&t=3599)

The correct answer choice is (A)

As referenced earlier, J’s advanced textbook review options are 2-4-6, 3-4-6, or 4-5-6. Thus, J’s complete review options are:

Only week 1 appears in all three possibilities, and thus answer choice (A) is correct.

**This question has been split**

Having some trouble with questions 16 (the 6th question in the set).

I see how A is correct, but I also feel like there are other weeks there J has to review an introductory book (such as weeks 3 and 5).

Someone please explain?

Thank you!

Hi,

Thanks for your question. J must review an introductory textbook in week 1, because he is not able to review an advanced textbook until Rosenberg has, and in the first week, no one will yet have reviewed anything already. But after week 1, there are multiple arrangements of weeks to books that will work. For instance, Juarez could review introductory textbooks 1st, 2nd and 3rd, and then advanced 4th, 5th, and 6th. Or Juarez could review introductory textbooks 1st, 2nd and 5th, thereby bypassing doing one 5th, and could review advanced books 3rd, 4th (when he must review X), an 6th. Since neither the 3rd or 5th week area always required, only A is correct.

Hope this helps!

Beth
