Can someone please explain why E is wrong? I think I diagrammed incorrectly.

I wrote down: if bacteria can survive for days--> penetrate wooden boards immed.

so wooden cutting boards--> not needing to be washed
wooden cutting boards--> simply being wiped

LeslyLSATinLA,

There is no conditional reasoning to diagram in the stimulus.

Answer choice (E) looks irrelevant to the argument. The argument claims that you don't have to wash wooden cutting boards at all. So when answer choice (E) talks about some positive effect of washing those boards...the author never wanted those boards washed. Answer choice (E) is therefore irrelevant to the argument, and certainly does not have to be assumed by the argument.
