Hi, I created the following diagram which led me to select (d) for reflecting that only two variables must follow T:
J NP T D L

Here are the rules that I gathered:
T--D--L
L/J--NP or PN--J/L

Here are the Not-Laws that I gathers:
1 cannot be L, D, N, P (therefore, must be J/T)
2 cannot be L
5 cannot be T
6 cannot be T, D, N, P (therefore, must be L/J)

Even if the question were, "what is the max number of groups that could occur before T," I find that answer to be 3 according to my diagramming and rules. I wonder how I am mistaken.

Thanks,
Nick

Hi Nick!

You missed part of rule #1--the teachers are evaluated at some point before the doctors AND at some point before the nurses. That means that T must be evaluated before D, L, N, and P.

Hope this helps!

Best,
Kelsey
