Hey Negusalfie,

The 2nd rule makes it impossible to have a moderate vote against it in this scenario. If your against category is C and M. Then your for category is LLLCM. But the 2nd rule states that if three liberals voted the same way, then no conservative voted that way thus making it impossible to have a moderate vote against the proposal in this question. Dave played out the only two possiblities for this question above.

This is quite a strange and difficult game, but I hope this helps you out. This may be one of the rare instances where it is easier to look at the rules they wrote instead of writing them youself.
