Setup and Rule Diagram Explanation

This is a Pure Sequencing Game.
pt48_d05_g2_1.png
* This is an extremely difficult chain to diagram. L links to both K and J, but do not make the mistake of linking J to K, linking J to P or G, or linking H to K.

* H, L, P, G, or T can be harvested first.

* Only M or J can be harvested last.

Can you please explain why the L is circled? I don't remember reading that as a notation in my bible.

Hi Srr,
For this diagram, L is circled because of it's unique place in the sequence as stated above: "This is an extremely difficult chain to diagram. L links to both K and J, but do not make the mistake of linking J to K, linking J to P or G, or linking H to K." We use the circle to indicate a variable that may cause us difficulty in the game.
Please let us know if you have other questions.
