DOES THE LSAT PAPER TEST ALLOW ME TO HAVE SCRAP PAPER

I'm taking the paper August test, and like to solve my LG on a separate piece of paper as apposed to the space provided immediately underneath the LG Question. Will I be allowed to have scrap paper like everyone else?

I don't believe so. With the paper exam, last time I checked you could only use the booklet space.

Can anyone confirm this? I am taking the paper and pencil version on October 14th. So no scratch paper allowed? Anyone else who has taken the paper version have any other suggestions? I am assuming I will still have a timer on the computer, so I won't need one. Any input is appreciated. I am glad I have the accommodation, but a little nerve wracked because I have mostly been doing practice sections and drills in the digital format. I have a few paper PTs to try and get through before the 14th.

You should definitely send an email to LSAC to get clarification on that point, but given that no scratch paper was ever allowed on the paper test, and that the booklet will provide you with lots of blank space to do your diagramming, I think it's a reasonable bet that you will neither be allowed any extra paper nor will you need any.

Also, plan on using an analog watch as your timer. If they allow it, great, that way you don't have to rely entirely on looking up at your computer screen. If they say no, you can only use the on-screen timer, then no problem, you just take the watch off and put it in a drawer. Analog only, though, nothing electronic/digital and no smart watches!
