You have up to a year to complete it, Chavi, but your score will not be released to you or to any law schools until it has been completed and approved. So if you took the October test, and you haven't done the Writing yet, get on it quickly to avoid any delay in your score release!
We have seen it take up to two weeks to get an approval, and if it is rejected for any reason, like a security violation (oops, you were wearing your smart watch!), that can delay it further still. Ideally it will be approved within a few days, but not much ideal happens around the LSAT, so don't take any chances. Get that thing done!
