When you made your two templates, how did you decide to use Y once and Y twice, and then not do O and G once and twice?

Probably because we already know that Y cannot be used in the same window as the required GP block, pwfquestions , whereas O may or may not be with that block. If templates were built around O, for example, you could have a single O that is with the GP block, or you could have a single O that is NOT with the GP block. That's already more flexible than the Y situation!

Y seems to be a powerful player here. It cannot be with O or G, and it requires P. That already makes it a bit of a big deal, and a good source for doing templates.

To get a better sense of why, play around with it and try creating templates using another variable as the trigger and see what happens! You may find a great alternative, or you may end up seeing that Y is the best choice. Let us know if you find something else that turns out to be more promising!
