I have the Powerscore bibles and am now planning on focusing on LG for a while to get polished on what is my weakest section.

I recall that the as of around 2004(?) that the LG have only been of a few (3) types and I can't find this information again. I would like to focus my studying on these game types.

Does anyone know what they are or have a link to the info, I recall it being on here before, i just found the link was dead. I believe they were basic linear, adv linear and one more...??

Cheers.

Basic Linear, Advanced Linear, and Grouping are the three main types. There are other, minor types, but those are the three you'll most likely be encountering. It is also possible to have a combination Linear/Grouping game.

Hope this helps.

Hi Russell,

Yes, you've got it right. Those three types comprise the vast majority of games, and the other types that occasionally appear (Sequencing, for example) are actually variants of one of those three (Sequencing is a type of Basic Linear Game, for example).

The Logic Game Training Type books (http://www.powerscore.com/lsat/publications/?lqc ) divide all games into the various types, so you may find the Training type books helpful as you seek to focus on certain types.

Good luck with the studying and please feel free to ask us any questions. thanks!

Hi Guys,

Thanks for the responses. I will likely focus my study to those game types and add more in as time permits.

Dave, I have the bibles and ultimate set ups, and I will probably look to add some new material as you indicated with the 'types' LG and LR series. Cheers.

Hi Russell,

Thanks for the update. If you have any questions as you go through all that material, please do not hesitate to ask!

Also, do you have the Setups Encyclopedias (there are three volumes), or the Ultimate Setups guide? I ask because the Ultimate Setups guide is kind of dated. If so, let me know and I'll see what I can do to "modernize" your materials :-D

Thanks!
