Question on Parallel Flaw

Is parallel flaw questions in the same family as parallel reasoning? Which would be Family 1.

And is parallel reasoning questions the same as parallel flaw questions?

They are both in the first family, shanekoch1! Both times you are using the stimulus to prove the correct answer choice. The difference between the two is that in a parallel reasoning question, you are copying the reasoning in the stimulus, which may or may not be flawed, while in a parallel flaw question you are copying the reasoning that you KNOW is flawed. The process between the two questions is very very similar.

Both questions are driven by the stimulus, driven by the reasoning used in that stimulus. Once you have a good understanding of the stimulus, you'll be well prepared to analyze the answer choices to find a good match.
