I have a question regarding question #116 that appears in the LR Problem Set #2 packet. This questions discusses butterfat.
I incorrectly chose answer C. After reading the question again, I realize that the conclusion is stating that manufactures should name their reduced-butterfat butter from "immitation butter" to "lite butter" because products that are truly reduced butterfat butter and named "imitation butter" will not be bought by consumers because in the past "imitation butter" was associated with being reduced in fat when it actually wasn't. Is that a correct interpretation of the conclusion?
Since the question stem is asking us to weaken the notion that manufacturers should be naming reduced butterfat butter to "lite butter" instead of "imitation butter", would a correct prephase be something along the lines of ===> "customers who don't buy this product because of its name will never buy this product (even with the name change) because there are healthier alternatives, so there is no point in changing the name of reduced butterfat butter from "immitation butter" to "lite butter". Based on that reasoning, is that why answer E is correct?
